Debates and Drinking

I have been in constant debates with myself over a lot of things (always while drinking a good cup of coffee, a glass of leftover red wine, generic green tea, or good old san miguel beer). Drinking while thinking always helps clear the senses and blocks out external noises from my mind.

Life always gives us a lot of opportunities. These may be given as beautifully wrapped presents or grimy pieces of trash. I know that during the past year, life has given me a lot presents (tangible ones and metaphorical ones) and at the same time, I was also given my equal share of mistakes which taught really valuable lessons.

One of which is not taking any crap from anybody. I believe in equality and no person is really greater than the other if you look at it biologically. Sooner or later, our ultimate end will be the same. Even though we share different beliefs, have different ideologies, religion, skin color, or levels of education, we are all human beings.

Passion is what defines us as a person. It's our reason for being. I have yet to identify mine but I know it's inherent in each person. All I know is that I'm taking one step at a time and each day is bringing me closer to that other greatest day of my life. And I applaud those people who have already defined theirs.

Love is overrated. I am a cynic, yes. And I don't give a damn. In reality, it's never really going to sound like there's music everywhere or your heart's about to burst.

Eating a heavy breakfast + only crackers for lunch + light dinner can really make you lose weight (significantly). Though I did not do this on purpose, I found out that this type of diet can work for me, if I want to lose weight in the future.

Risks are there for us to take. Taking risks (periodically) and not worrying about the 'what-ifs' can be good for our body and soul. Yes, it's healthy.

Reading is way better than watching TV.
